We continually assess and grow our model to meet the needs of our student teachers, master teachers and the community of students in urban public schools.
Our Objectives

candidates using a pre-established seamless relationship between local
Community Colleges and teacher education programs at CSULB.
• Prepare credential candidates in classroom settings
providing hands-on learning opportunities in select urban schools.
• Provide collaborative research opportunities for
university faculty and classroom teachers working together to address the needs of urban schools.

• Serve school sites, its teachers and students by
carefully aligning coursework, field experiences, and student projects with
individual school improvement plans.
